God's people respond well by praying first, filling our hearts with God's word, and increasing our generosity.

Praying First

Go to God as your first priority, not your last resort. We believe God is working supernaturally while we are working naturally.

Most Gracious Father,
We place our confidence and hope in You.
We ask You for protection, healing, and provision.
We ask You for wisdom to know how we ought to conduct ourselves as the body of Christ before a watching world.
We ask that You would open our eyes to see ways to love our neighbor as ourselves.
We ask You to use these uncertain and difficult times to bring renewal to our homes and communities. We ask that, by the power of Your Spirit, You would draw people far from You to place their trust in Jesus.

In Jesus’ name,

Join us for daily prayer and encouragement on Facebook and Instagram live every day at 1pm.

Filling Our Hearts with God’s Word

The unshakable foundation for our lives is God’s Word. It is our source of wisdom, comfort, and faith. It helps defines our current reality and illuminate our path forward.

“When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down,
your sleep will be sweet.
Have no fear of sudden disaster
or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,
for the Lord will be at your side
and will keep your foot from being snared.”
— Proverbs 3:24-26 NIV

Increasing Generosity

God’s people don’t shrink from difficult times, instead, we react in faith believing that God uses our increased generosity to meet needs and shine a light of hope into the darkness people around us are experiencing.

One of the biggest ways you can help is to automate your giving. Set up recurring giving so that no matter how often we are able to gather, God’s work can continue

Look for ways to step out and bless the people around you:

  • Who is anxious?
  • Who is directly affected by these events?
  • Is there anyone in your world who can’t travel home?
  • Lost their regular work?

Is New Beginnings open?

Yes, New Beginnings Church is still open during regular office hours at this time. We’ll communicate scheduling changes directly through Social Media and reflect those changes on the website whenever possible.

How can I continue giving if I am unable to attend worship gatherings?

Online Giving is available for your convenience

Are there any cases of COVID-19 within the New Beginnings family?

There are a few known presumptive or confirmed cases of COVID-19 within New Beginnings Church. As far as we know everyone involved is in the middle of recovery.

What is the difference between "presumptive" and "confirmed" cases?

“Presumptive” is when a medical assessment is completed and the initial diagnostic test has come back positive with an additional diagnostic test sent for confirmation. “Confirmed” is when an additional diagnostic test has come back positive (usually within 48 hours).

What are some trusted sources?

The CDC is a great source for trusted information.

What are NBC's regular sanitization steps?

We enact measures to disinfect surfaces commonly touched by hands each weekend. All in-house cleaning supplies are EPA-registered sanitizing products which demonstrate virucidal claims against flu, and viruses.

We sanitize our children’s spaces on a weekly basis (and after each service when we are meeting in any location) by using our in-house cleaning supplies.
